<p><p><b>Description : </b><br/><br/>- Job Title : PostgreSQL Database Administrator<br/><br/>- Education : Any Graduation<br/><br/>- Experience : 8+years<br/><br/>- Location : Skills : </b><br/><br/>- PostgreSQL Open Source and EDB PostgreSQL<br/><br/>- AWS, Microsoft Azure and GCP PostgreSQL<br/><br/>- Pgbadger, PgAdmin, Pgbouncer, BARMAN, pgbackrest, repmgr, Patroni and pg_repack<br/><br/><b>Job Description : </b><br/><br/>- 7+ years of relevant Experience<br/><br/>- Good knowledge of PostgreSQL Database Architecture<br/><br/>- Installing, configuring PostgreSQL using source code, RPM, one-click installation on-prem and Cloud Technologies<br/><br/>- Strong experience in handling Database Logical and Physical Backups<br/><br/>- Hands on experience on restoration techniques on PostgreSQL like pg_restore and Point in time recovery (PITR)<br/><br/>- Expertise in Applying database patches from lower version to higher version<br/><br/>- Major and Minor upgrade of PostgreSQL DB's on multiple platforms (pg_dump/pg_restore & pg_upgrade)<br/><br/>- Implemented PostgreSQL DR servers and PostgreSQL load balancing using pgpool<br/><br/>- Expertise in Streaming Replication (Including Cascading Replication)<br/><br/>- Configuring pgbouncer for connection pooling<br/><br/>- Configuring pgbadger for generating statistic report on the basis PostgreSQL log file<br/><br/>- Handling Database corruption issues<br/><br/>- Have done Oracle to PostgreSQL Migration for multiple clients<br/><br/>- Strong knowledge on PostgreSQL configuration parameter for tuning the DB health<br/><br/>- Managed Users and Tablespace on PostgreSQL Servers<br/><br/>- Configuring Heterogeneous DB connections between Oracle, PostgreSQL<br/><br/>- Expertise in Shell scripts for performing Online Backup and maintenance activity<br/><br/>- Strong experience in setting up RDS & Aurora Cluster<br/><br/>- Strong experience in Query Tuning and performance improvement<br/><br/>- Tuning parameter group and configuring Aurora cluster for Read Replica<br/><br/>- Configuring RDS & Aurora PostgreSQL Logs to push to S3 Bucket<br/><br/>- Experience on Reviewing performance Metrics and query tuning on Aurora PostgreSQL<br/><br/>- Configured Query Store and Analytics workspace on MS Azure Cloud<br/><br/></p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
